“I was born and raised in western Colorado. I grew tromping around some of the most beautiful country in the world and pretty much took it for granted, until I had to leave it. I didn’t go very far though and my short travels introduced me to more places of interest and beauty.

I’ve always been somewhat into photography but I really didn’t pursue it with passion until about 1992. Specifically, nature photography became my focus as the outdoors was always where I was most happy. Even with the advents of marriage and kids I still hold true to the passion and manage to “get out there” into God’s country.

My primary geographic area of interest is Colorado but I make forays into neighboring states also. The Colorado Plateau and Sonoran Desert of Arizona are among my favorite places to be and photograph.”
