"I was born in Wichita, KS and spent some time living just north of Seattle before settling in the Denver area some 36 years ago. I've had a lot of different jobs in my time but spent nearly 18 years in the photo biz in Denver working as Lab Manager for Ward Photo and Foto Tek before spending nearly 10 years working at Camren Photographic Resources, the last 5 years as General Manager. I bought my first "serious" camera in 1973 and Photography has been my passion ever since. It was a very difficult decision for me but about 9 years ago I left the photo biz and stepped into Corporate America figuring that it was time to start saving for retirement. I bumped around a bit before settling into my current vocation as a Financial Advisor/Client Manager for High Net Worth clients at T Rowe Price in Colorado Springs.

I still shoot a lot. In fact, I probably shoot more now than when I was in the biz, and make it a point to take a few shooting trips every year to bolster my stock files and maintain my sanity. That's good news and bad news: Good news is I have photographed some really neat stuff in the American and Canadian West. Bad news is while putting together some images for a stock request I realized that the vast majority of my best images are not from Colorado! I've resolved to change that so you'll be seeing more of me this year in places like Crested Butte and the San Juans. Currently in my spare time if I'm not on a shooting trip, I pick a little guitar with some friends or sit on the deck drinking icy cold adult beverages and tossing a ball for the dogs while I char some animal flesh on the grill."
