Default Wildflower Report - Governor Basin - July 17, 2010
Governor Basin really delivers more than wildflowers - the views are incredible as is the history of the mines that were located in the basin: Mountain Top and Virginius.

First, a few words about the roads would be appropriate - they are in pretty tough shape and should only be challenged by the more experienced four-wheeler with appropriate equipment.

Now the basin - prime conditions prevail. It's lush green with tremendous displays of virutally any flower you can imagine. The Indian Paintbrush is espciallly impressive - the largest, most colorful I've seen. Go now.

Great reports from all 4 areas. Sounds like you were busy. I agree with Darren - can't wait to ss the pictures.

Default Governor Basin
I've been busy organizing and handling the logistics for my group of eight friends. I'll get busy and try to figure out how to add photos. What a great place Governor is, though
