Governor Basin really delivers more than wildflowers - the views are incredible as is the history of the mines that were located in the basin: Mountain Top and Virginius.
First, a few words about the roads would be appropriate - they are in pretty tough shape and should only be challenged by the more experienced four-wheeler with appropriate equipment. Now the basin - prime conditions prevail. It's lush green with tremendous displays of virutally any flower you can imagine. The Indian Paintbrush is espciallly impressive - the largest, most colorful I've seen. Go now. |

I've been busy organizing and handling the logistics for my group of eight friends. I'll get busy and try to figure out how to add photos. What a great place Governor is, though
