Post any updates regarding the status of green leaves on aspen or cottonwoods (or any other tree/plant) here. A lot of people like to shoot those lime green, newly budded leaves, so that is the main scope of interest for this thread.

The Aspens are still just coming out on either side of Guanella pass.
The turf up by Bruno gulch is turning green, and boy are there a lot of Bluebirds out right now. Things are a little further along in the Aspen Park - Conifer area. |

Not to much to report here, but can say the aspens along Hwy 160 from South Fork up to the tunnel at the bottom on Wolf Creek Pass are a beautiful
lime green! Drove up Park Creek county road to the Summitville/Elwood Pass "Y", and that whole are is still not even budding yet. By the way, the Elwood Pass road is still snowed under at the "Y". |

The oaks have finally leafed out at my home in Colorado Springs at 7000 feet. Everything else is pretty green now.
Just got back from vacation out of state so I don't have anything else to report. |

Was just admiring some friends' photos from a backpacking trip off the Durango-Silverton and the aspens are lime green through there but very SNOWY still!
