Took the family for a hike in Wild basin today. Definitely arrive early as the parking lot fills by 8:30 am - your hike will be a lot longer if the trail head parking is full. Plenty of people on the trail as well. One or two photographers as well.

Wildflowers are a plenty between the cascades and the falls. It was a just a little too early for some of the indian paint brush but the meadow after the cascades were filled with plenty of flowers.

Water was flowing more than last year. The falls and cascades looked very well. Noticed a few small snow fields/patches up around the falls.

Perhaps I'll post an image or two later. Cookout and fireworks are a higher priority right now.
