RMNP - Dream and Emerald Lakes 6/12/07

I went up for sunrise this morning from the springs. when I arrived, I found the forecast of clearing by midnight to be not so accurate. It was raining most of the time I was up there. However, it was not windy and I caught some good reflections.

Dream lake is completely clear of ice. The trail only has a few spots where you need to traverse snow.

Continuing to Emerald lake, there is more snow on the trail, but it is all staying fairly hardpacked. There was only a little ice floating in Emerald. A couple of pieces 6ft across or so.
